What is CMC?
The Chinese Mission Convention (CMC) is more than a convention; it is evidence that God is at work. CMC is a ministry whose ultimate purpose is to challenge and mobilize Christian-Chinese and non-Chinese of the calling to be ambassadors for Christ in all walks of life, locally & globally, to reach Chinese, non-Chinese and unreached people groups. CMC is dedicated to empower individuals and churches to reach the world for Christ.
Over the course of five days you will hear messages from highly respected mission voices, attend workshops, talk with missionaries and agencies face to face, worship, and pray. Since its beginning CMC has been attended by well over 9,000 people; numerous churches, organizations, and individuals have been empowered and mobilized.
Praise the Lord for the way that He has blessed this ministry. We are grateful for the nine conventions that the Lord has allowed us to host since 1983. We are thankful to the Lord that CMC has been a tremendous platform for mobilizing Chinese to reach Chinese for Christ and for missions cross-culturally.
CMC 2010 will be a life transforming event. Plan now to join thousands of Christians to forge a new era in missions!
The Chinese Mission Convention is organized and sponsored by Ambassadors for Christ, Inc. (AFC). Background Information on CMC
This triennial convention was started in 1983 and has significantly increased in size and impact each time it has been held. Many churches, organizations, and individuals have greatly benefited from past conventions. The Biblical mandate is clear: to declare God’s glory among the nations and to go and make disciples of all nations. There is an urgency to fulfill the Great Commission as we go forward in the new millennium. It is time for the harvested to become the harvesters. The vision and focus of CMC does not end with the close of the convention. AFC is committed to working with a variety of churches, individuals, faculty and organizations to follow up on the progress and special needs of those who dedicate their lives to full-time ministry.
Who is CMC designed for?
CMC is designed for you, mission-minded Christians of all ages, who are eager to be exposed to mission concepts and to network with others to expand and implement your mission vision.
Why hold a mission convention in a hotel?

Who is the sponsoring organization?

Convention Partners
Join with Us!
Since 1983, CMC, a triennial event, has partnered with local churches to empower Chinese Christians to reach the world for Christ. In these last 20 years we have seen the Holy Spirit powerfully use CMC to awaken the Chinese church in North America and bring her to a stronger dedication to the Great Commission. Individually, thousands of Chinese and non-Chinese Christians have been challenged by this ministry and hundreds have committed to the pursuit of full-time missions. Praise the Lord!
Churches have a profound impact on the commitment of believers and partnerships with them are vital to the success of the CMC ministry. The Lord blessed us tremendously with over 90 partner churches and organizations for CMC 2007. For CMC 2010 we earnestly pray for the privilege of continued partnership with churches in this ministry. We would ask that you talk with your mission committee and ask them to consider praying for, participating in and financially supporting CMC 2010.

Advisory Meeting
Early in the summer of 2008, the Chinese Mission Convention (CMC) Advisory Meeting was held to share ideas about missions, discuss ways to grow the Chinese church, and begin planning CMC 2010. It was an unprecedented gathering, as more than 30 pastors, church leaders, and mission organization representatives from nine churches and six groups came together with a wealth of strategic input. Truly we experienced first hand how the Lord works powerfully through the partnerships of His people to multiply our efforts “2+2=6” – far more abundantly than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
